School started a few weeks ago and already, my son brought home a package for his school’s fundraiser. I was surprised. Two major things are missing! Bacon and pumpkin spice….!


The 2018-19 Farmer's Almanac was published Monday and it's safe to say that heavy winter coats, window scrapers and plenty of hot chocolate will be needed for much of the winter. The Farmers Almanac predicts that the Central US, Midwest and Northeast will see a cold, brutal winter.

That’s what happened to mom, Laurel Hutsell from St. Charles, Missouri. The school photographer used a green screen and her son’s body blended into the backgrounds. The results are humorous. Each photo shows his floating head. One is on a bridge in fall foliage, in front of a painted wall, a brick wall, a wood wall,  and one over the American flag.
As she commented, “At least his hair and smile were on point!”

Sheri Easter confirms that her mother, Polly Copsey, passed away, early Sunday morning. Her mother had been battling Parkinson's disease for the past 16 years.
Polly was part of the The Lewis Family, known as the "First Family of Bluegrass Gospel." a 2013 inductee into the SGMA Hall of Fame. The group had a TV show for nearly 40 years, ending in 1992. Please keep the family in your prayers.

A group of archeologists probably asked themselves that question after discovering 3,300 year old cheese in the tomb of Ptahmes, the former mayor of Memphis — Egypt’s capital city at the time.

Analysis found that the cheese The cheese is also laced with a potentially deadly form of bacteria that causes the potentially deadly disease brucellosis, which can cause a fever, stomach ache, cough, and other unpleasant symptoms.

How smart is your kid?
The parents of Caitlin Lunt (age 6) got a major surprise when a delivery truck rolled up to their house. After the Amazon delivery man started unloading, the Lunts learned that Caitlin purchased $350 worth of toys from the online provider through clicking "instant buy" and had them shipped overnight -- which is how the parents were totally caught off guard until delivery day.
How did this happen? Caitlin had asked her mom to check the shipping on a Barbie they ordered for her birthday and that's when she just started clicking "instant buy".
So what now? Caitlin is allowed to keep her original Barbie but has to ship everything else back.
