There are several dinners that Lydia allows me to make in the kitchen from time to time. This is one that is a favorite... my cheeseburger pie. There is never any leftovers, so I now have to make two! Yum.
Ingredients:
• Ground Beef (2 lbs)
• Lawry's seasoned salt
• Onion Powder (3 tsp)
• 2 Cheddar Cheese blocks (8 oz)
• Pickles (chopped)
• Mustard
• Ketchup
• 2 Eggs
• Mayo (½ cup)
• Heavy Cream (½ cup)
• Black pepper
Directions:
1. Brown 2 pounds beef, sprinkled with Lawry's seasoned salt. (Drain fat)
2. Add 3 teaspoons onion powder.
3. Place beef mixture in casserole/pie dish and stir in 8 ounce grated cheese (block).
4. In mixing bowl, mix chopped pickles, chopped tomatoes, mustard, and ketchup. Add this layer of ingredients over beef and cheese combination.
5. In another bowl beat two eggs, 1/2 cup mayo, 1/2 cup heavy cream, and a dash of black pepper.
6. Pour mix over beef and top with another grated 8 ounce cheese (block).
7. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
