NASA says… YES!

In fact, they actually encourages you to use better lens to zoom and capture the eclipse.

But of course, while trying to capture this exciting event, you have to be careful that you minimize glimpsing the bright sun with your own eyes without the benefit of a proper filter (glasses)!

Astronauts can indeed cry in space. Tears run down your face because of gravity, but they don't need gravity to form. When the tears get big enough they simply break free of the eye and float around. #MidDayFact
