Using a Bluetooth Wireless Remote Control Camera Shutter Button!

I like taking photos.

That is an understatement! I take somewhere between 300-600 photos with my iphone a month. That's quite a bit.

I also take videos. I try and capture moments of my kids. I'm sure they'll enjoy them when they get older. Of course, they are not set up. I'll just randomly pull out my phone and snap a few pictures and/or a one minute clip.

I'll occasionally post to social media so that we can look back on them a few years later. That's been fun as well.

Sometimes, I'll use my selfiestick to grab some great shots. However, plugging it up to my cammera and pushing the button while holding the handle isn't the most optimal situataion at times. I often wished I could find a cheap wireless button that allowed me to snap that picture remotely.

Then I found one. And cheap! It was located in the photophy section at Walmart for $2.50. What a grab.

Once paired with my phone, I can even step several feet away and take a shot. For a test, we set my phone up on a tri-pod in our front yard, and took a family photo on the porch! Cool....

For those who like photography with your mobile phone... check it out!

In the News:
One of the latest trends in parenting is holding a gender-reveal party.
When one of these events is planned, almost everyone, even the parents, are kept in the dark about the gender of the child. The ultrasound results are given to one specific person, and that person then fills a balloon with pink or blue confetti or bakes a cake with pink or blue icing inside to indicate whether the baby will be a boy or a girl.
These parties tend to be lots of fun for friends and family alike, but they don't always go according to plan. One couple who was looking forward to their gender-reveal party for weeks got quite the surprise when they cut into their cake…. Plain white! Yes, the baker forgot to put in the color.

Is ROBLOX (game) dangerous for kids???

In the news: A father has issued a warning to other parents after his eight-year-old son was sent indecent messages from strangers on popular online game Roblox.

This is something that has been a trending topic on social media, etc.

Since our kids love the game, we did some looking into these accusations posted online as well. Apparently he had lied about his kids' ages so they could have facebook (and other social media), which then lied to the settings of the game, preventing the protection in place to guard them from those extra features (chatting, etc).

If you allow your kids to miss-represent their age, how can you be mad when others do the same?

Our settings for the kids are in correctly place, and there is no illicit danger in the game.

However, it gave us some good conversation with our kids on accepting unknown "friends", and the dangers of chatting and messaging strangers.

In the News:
So who really is the true clown in the family? Many would say that it is the older siblings as they would seem to have developed the most comedic chops, often at their younger brother or sister’s expense!
But research by YouGov has shown that it’s actually the youngest sibling of the bunch that’s the true comic. The eldest becomes overwhelmed with responsibility, leading to a more serious, non-comedic tone. It turns out the order of birth does have something to do with differences in character, one being a more comedic nature for the last born child.
Does this study hold true with your own family experiences? Was your younger sibling funnier than you?
