In The News:
The Salvation Army in Springfield, MO received a gold coin in one of its kettles on Friday, November 24. The coin was found amongst the other coins in the kettle while being sorted.
Current gold prices are just under $1300.00 per ounce. The coin will be sold and the money will be used for local programs. Other unusual items have been found in local kettles before, including rings, foreign currency and gold teeth.
