- Psychology experts say if you want to be happy, put up the Christmas decorations immediately.
- People who break out the tinsel, tree and lights first may be in touch with their inner child and be more nostalgic.
- Putting up decorations early might take you back to a time before the stresses of adult life.
- Previous research also shows that decorating the outside of your house makes you seem more friendly to your neighbors.
