Mid-Day Recap (Thursday 10/04/18)

Bible Trivia Question:
The disciples were first called Christians in what city?
A. Jerusalem
B. Damascus
C. Antioch
D. Jericho

In The News:
  • A government study has found that 1 in 3 U.S. adults eat fast food on any given day. That’s about 85 million people. It’s not really a surprise, but it was the first federal study to look at how often adults eat fast food. An earlier study found a similar proportion of children and adolescents ate it on any given day.
  • A new study says parents have just 32 minutes to themselves every day and many have to hide from their kids to get a breather. The average parent polled said they hide from their children four times a week.
  • A California man was arrested on burglary charges after police matched his DNA to something he left behind at the scene of the crime. Police said the suspect broke into the home, took several items, and used the bathroom before taking off. The unflushed evidence was found at the scene and DNA was matched to records cops had on file.
