Research on 400,000 adults found that those who used fitness trackers linked to reward schemes saw activity levels increase by more than a third. … Those with the fitness trackers managed 4.8 days activity a month on average, compared with 3.5 days among those without the devices.

A British study has found that the touchscreens you use to order food in McDonald’s restaurants carry traces of human poo. An investigation was carried out in six London branches of the fast food chain, and every McDonald’s screen that was swabbed was found to have poo bacteria on them.… One of the researchers said, “We were all surprised how much gut and fecal bacteria there was on the touchscreen machines.” ...Really, dude?
