Men often joke about it, but the idea ‘Happy Wife, Happy Life’ does, in fact, hold some real validity. A study (Rutgers University) found that a wife’s happiness is more vital than that of her husband’s in keeping a marriage happy and healthy. The study, which surveyed older couples married for an average of 39 years, concluded that the happier a wife is in the relationship, the happier the husband is with his life regardless of what he feels or even thinks about the relationship itself.
You might want your house to smell of roses or fresh linen but have you ever wished it was filled with the scent of KFC gravy? But of course! KFC has launched a candle that smells of their famous topping. There are 230 up for grabs on a first-come, first served basis. Previously, the fast food chain has released a chicken scented candle and a bath bomb with the smell of their famous 11 herbs and spices mix.

Red’s Giant Hamburg is returning 35 years after the iconic Springfield restaurant closed. On Jan. 4, business partners David Campbell and Greg Iott received approval for a building permit with the city to start construction for the replica restaurant. Crews are performing site work for the new restaurant at 3201 W. Sunshine St., located between Scenic Avenue and West Bypass, across the street from Pitbull Powersports. The hope is that the owners likely would be “flipping burgers by early summer.”
