- A study of odors in homes (by Procter & Gamble) reveals those homes with the most carpeting are the most likely to smell the worst.
- A man in China, upset over the end of his relationship with his girlfriend, purchased every other seat in a movie theater so couples wouldn’t be able to sit together on Valentine’s Day.
- In Italy, a man went to the hospital after he attempted to set a local record for eating the most meatballs. He became sick after consuming 27. The record in the town where he lives is 42.
- A new poll by the Los Angeles Times ranked french fries from several famous fast food chains according to taste and texture. According to the poll, the fries at Five Guys are #1. McDonald’s which is just as famous for its fries as their burgers came in at #2. Del Taco, Steak and Shake and Arby’s rounded out the top 5. Chick-fil-A didn't even make the top 10….
- Chocolate, wafers, ummmm maybe some more chocolate! Have you ever wondered what is in the center of a Kit-Kat candy bar? Turns out that the center of a Kit-Kat is more than just chocolate and wafers.The inside layers are actually made out of chocolate, wafers, and ground up Kit-Kats. The mind-blowing fact was discovered during a BBC documentary.

Bonus News (not mentioned on-air):Livestock need love too, and now there’s an app for that. “Tudder” a mash-up of ‘tinder’ and ‘udder’ was created in order for farmers to find matches for their cattle. The creators of the app launched it just in time for Valentine’s day. Interested farmers can check out stats like milk yield and protein content, or calving potential.
