In The News:- Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re a single person looking to find love, a new study says you should get to Florida. WalletHub recently named Florida the best state in the country for single people. The study compared the dating economics and dating opportunities in each state, as well as the number of restaurants, attractions, movie theaters, parks and bars. Based on their findings, Florida topped all of the other states.
- What happens when you quit Facebook? You become happier, you regain over an hour of your life each day, and you become less polarized on political issues. But researchers (New York and Stanford universities) say those who quit Facebook have less knowledge of factual current events as well.
- In China a man bought a parrot and tried to get it to speak. After eight months of trying to teach the bird to say “hello” and “goodbye” with no success, the man was frustrated. He lost his temper and called the bird an idiot. That’s when the parrot finally said its first word, repeating “idiot” back to the man.
- It’s World Nutella Day… shouldn’t that be on February 14th.

Bonus News (not mentioned on-air):Universal Studios Orlando has a new character in one of its theme parks with a very particular set of skills. Guy Diamond, a troll from the Trolls animated movie, has a well-defined bare bottom that not only farts at guests, but fires off glitter when it does. Guy Diamond recently joined trolls Branch and Poppy, who have been doing meet-and-greets at the theme park for some time now.
