- Valentine’s Day is a holiday many people love to hate, and fewer people are celebrating it altogether. In a recent survey, 51% of Americans said they plan to celebrate it. However, Americans are spending more money than ever on Valentine’s Day gifts including candy, jewelry, and flowers for their family, friends, and significant others. The average person is expected to spend about $160 on the holiday this year.
- Are your little ones calling you Mummy? Ever heard of the of "the Peppa effect."? Parents across the US have shared on social media that their children are using a British accent, and a certain pig named Peppa could be the reason why. The popular T.V. show 'Peppa Pig' follows Peppa and her family of pigs navigating everyday life with their friends. As for the acquired accent, some parents even admit to being about jealous. But there’s also another thing parents say is happening...: Their little ones are ending their sentences with Peppa’s trademark snort.
