- According to a new, “jaw dropping” study, the average American will spend 36 years in bed. Except… we knew this, since we’ve been told by mattress companies for years that we spend at least a third of our life in bed.
- This is obvious… Beware the ball pit, like those at restaurant chains, because new research says they may contribute to germ transmission. The research (University of North Georgia) found ball pits to be contaminated with dirt, vomit, feces, urine, and other gross stuff.
- A family in the UK is looking for a part-time nanny who is willing to dress up as a Disney princess every day. The nanny would be for the family’s 5-year-old twin girls who are “obsessed with Disney.” The chosen candidate would be required to dress as a different princess every month, including Cinderella, Belle, Anna, Rapunzel, Moana and Merida. … In addition to pretending to be a Disney princess, the nanny would also have to pick up the twins from school, organize Disney-related activities, sing and cook dinner.
- If your only chance to squeeze in a workout is at night, don’t worry about it messing with your sleep. A study (Arizona State University) found that people who exercise in the evening sleep just as well as those who don’t bust a sweat before bed.
