- A man in New Delhi, India, holds the world record for fastest typing with the nose. Vinod Kumar Chaudhary practiced four hours every day typing “Guinness world records have challenged me to type this sentence using my nose in the fastest time.” He set the record with a time of 46.30 seconds.
- A new study found that when it comes to raising teenagers, girls spend more time on homework and household chores than boys. Teens were asked to log the time they spent on daily activities, including errands, housework, eating, sleeping, grooming, education and leisure. Researchers found that females spent 38 minutes of housework daily, higher than boys, who spent about 24 minutes cleaning around the house.
- Research shows the average retiree starts getting bored just over a year into retirement. And one in ten say they’re bored within five months of retirement.
- In South Africa a man faked his own death and spent thousands to give himself a funeral. His wife and family knew about the plan, but his friends didn’t. The guy lay in his coffin for two hours, listening to the tearful eulogies of his friends. Then, he suddenly sat up and confessed that he just wanted to find out what people would say about him after he died. Most of the mourners got up and walked out, vowing to never speak to him again.
