- Superman Day

- A third of Americans sleep with a “comfort object” from childhood. From a special pillow, a blanket or a stuffed animal held over from when they were little, 34 percent keep something of sentimental value close to them while they sleep.

- The Disneyland Resort keeps on adding attractions to make you spend your money. Just days after opening Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Disney's California Adventure just got the green light to start working on Marvel Land. The expansion will focus on Marvel comic book characters and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. More details are expected later this summer. Will adding more attractions make you more likely to visit a Disney park soon?

- Police in California say a man who held up a gas station left behind a pretty good clue — an envelope with his name and address. The robber had written a short hold-up note on the back of the envelope and, as he was stuffing the cash into a bag, he dropped the envelope on the counter.

- The only good snake is a dead snake…. Park and recs officials in North Carolina are warning folks to be on the lookout for a "zombie snake", meaning a snake that defends itself by pretending to play dead...until you get too close! While this type of snake - a hognose - isn't poisonous, they do like to also pretend to be a cobra and will bow up, hiss and spread out their necks if you get too close. To add to the nightmare fuel, these snakes aren't known to bite but they have no problem striking repeatedly.
