- More than 500 teeth were removed by doctors from a little boy’s mouth recently after he started to complain of jaw pain and swelling. Since the 7-year-old India boy’s surgery last month, he now has 21 teeth instead of an unprecedented 526 — many of which were discovered inside a sac embedded in his lower jaw.

- Don’t want to miss a funeral? The practice of live-streaming funerals has recently exploded in popularity and the president-elect of the National Funeral Directors Association estimates that 20 percent of funeral homes now offer the service. The service caters to those loved ones unable to travel on short notice to pay their respects.

- The average person spends more than six months of their life talking about the weather… According to a study, a typical weather conversation crops up three times a day, lasting an average of two minutes and 46 seconds on each occasion.

- MUGGER THANKS POLICE FOR RESCUING HIM _ Police in Italy say an attempted mugger thanked officers for rescuing him from his alleged victims — a group of South Korean tourists skilled in taekwondo. Authorities say the Italian grabbed a handbag from one of the tourists and brandished a knife. However, one South Korean disarmed the attacker using taekwondo techniques and used the martial art to keep the suspect from escaping until police arrived.

- A teenager found out the hard way that the fish were biting. The boy reached into the water of a Hong Kong fountain hoping to scoop up a fish — then was bitten by what turned out to be a piranha. The 14-year-old boy required three stitches to his left index finger but was not seriously injured in the attack. A cleaning crew drained the fountain and found two piranhas, apparently pets that had been abandoned in the fountain at a public housing project.
