- If you’re approaching the age of 40 and think life is nearly over, you’re way off — especially if you’re barbecue fan. According to a new study, we truly master the art of barbecuing at the age of 38. This point we are able to successfully grill a burger without turning it into charcoal, cook a brat without it being pink in the middle, and grill a veggie kebab to perfection.

- Research from Harvard Medical School found that strawberries may offer cardiovascular disease protection. The study found that those who reported eating the most strawberries experienced lower blood levels of C-reactive protein, a blood biomarker that signals the presence of inflammation in the body. Elevated levels of CRP have been shown to be a potentially good predictor of risk for both heart disease and stroke.

- A survey found 4% of us wouldn’t last a day without our smartphone. 91% of us say our phone is as important as our car. People under the age of 40 rank their phone higher than deodorant and a toothbrush.

- A lovestruck man in Germany tried to impress his girlfriend by laying out hundreds of candles in the shape of a heart and spelling out the words “You set my heart on fire.” Unfortunately, what he set on fire was his house, which burned to the ground.

- A Florida woman was arrested for assault after throwing a sandwich at her boyfriend. Police say the pair were arguing over their pets.
