- According to health professionals, at a minimum,.kids should wash their hands 4 times a day. I’m assuming that this should also be WITH soap.

- If you think naming your child Alexa might be poor decision thanks to the Amazon assistants devices, take note. Parents in Indonesia have named their newborn Google... so the company Google sent the family gifts. (I’m gonna have to say that any assistant devices would have to be turned off as the child grows… hey Google!)

- What to instantly turn back the clock ten years? Get a dog. Researchers found dogs make us more active, helping us feel 10 years younger. Dog owners also have lower levels of depression, which is why researchers suggest getting a pooch for your aging parents.

- An excellent reminder to sanitize your airplane touch screen was shared on Twitter. A video circulating shows a Delta passenger using his bare feet to scroll through movies on the screen in front of him. The clip was shared by New York-based author Alafair Burke, who didn’t see the atrocity happen first-hand (or first-foot). A friend shot the video and shared it with Burke.

- In Nova Scotia, a would-be robber was electrocuted while trying to cut high-voltage wires during an attempted break-in at a convenience store. Too bad he didn’t read the signs.

- A fourth Thor movie is coming, and it will be written by the same guy who wrote the 2017 smash, Thor: Ragnarok.

- West Virginia State Police are seeing an alarming drug trend in Boone County. "People are making a synthetic type meth out of wasp spray." The physical effects are erratic behavior and extreme swelling and redness of the hands and feet. Oh… that must sting.

Bonus News (not mentioned on-air):For most of us the idea of re-wearing yesterday’s underwear is enough to make you dry heave. Hygiene experts say if you’re not washing your undies at the right temp you might as well be wearing them again because they’re probably full of fecal bacteria. To kill the pooey bacteria, make sure your water temp is set to 140 degrees (F) or above.


A man in Spain was taken to jail for taking his pet for a walk. In the nude. The man had nothing on, and neither did the goldfish he had in the fishbowl he was carrying.
