- Almost every American driver acknowledges that running red lights is dangerous — and over half of all drivers admit to doing it. The U.S. Transportation Department says drivers who run red lights are involved in 89,000 crashes every year, causing 82,000 injuries and almost 1,000 deaths. More than 55% of respondents to a survey claimed to have run red lights, even though 98% of those polled considered the behavior dangerous.

- When exactly is it appropriate to begin embracing the festive spirit? In a recent survey 40% of Americans say that November 1st is a good time to hang the Christmas lights and decor. - Sitting up straight in your chair isn’t just good for your posture — according to a new study it also gives you more confidence in your own thoughts. On the other hand, those who were slumped over their desks were less likely to accept these written-down feelings about their own qualifications.
