- Like shopping at Target? Theresa Yarber of Nashville recently created a mini Target inside her classroom. Yarber decided to decorate her preschool classroom like one of their stores as a way to get her students excited about coming to school every day. The space also includes a mini Starbucks kitchen.

- A dog has been found alive in the rubble in the Bahamas — one month after Hurricane Dorian slammed into the islands and trapped the pooch. The 1-year-old mixed breed pup — named Miracle by his rescuers — was trapped under air-conditioning units and survived only on rainwater. The dog was skeleton-thin and unable to walk when he was found in Marsh Harbour on Friday. Hurricane Dorian walloped the Bahamas as a Category 5 hurricane in last month, devastating sections of the archipelago that are expected to take years to recover. Miracle will be put up for adoption once he heals.

- A man in India who complained of a tickling sensation in his ear was stunned when doctors pulled out a giant insect. The cricket had burrowed its way head first inside the ear canal and was pulled out backwards with a pair of tweezers.
